Installation
Tangarie Alternative Power will provide turnkey installation or work with your existing architect/engineer to design system solutions, prepare all drawings, material lists and provide support in obtaining permits. With the support of our Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and our certified, licensed electrical/mechanical contractors, we will execute the project including the interfaces to existing systems and the power grid.
We alternately can provide:
- engineering only
- equipment (wind turbines, photovoltaic, co-generation, and solar HVAC systems)
- major lighting and/or building management system upgrades
- commissioning
- conditioned power (data/computer center)
- back-up power
Wind Studies
Tangarie Alternative Power generally recommends a wind study be performed even when there is existing data available. The objective in this case is to obtain a high degree of correlation between existing (airport, AWOS, etc.) data and actual site data. This correlation allows for more accurate projections. Wind studies are valuable even in very windy areas by allowing for optimal turbine placement on even the windiest sites. We have provided a number of wind resources in our Links section of the site.
