Many have asked me where the name Tangarie comes from and I don't mind answering. Tangarie is our family name. The company was founded in tribute to Private First Class Joseph Tangarie, my brother, who was killed in the TET Offensive during the Vietnam war and by extension, to all of our servicemen and women who risk their lives to protect our country every day.
In this world where many nations compete for limited traditional fuels, Tangarie believes that our customers, given quality product choices, can empower positive change to our collective future.
My company will remain a legacy of the Tangarie name and, most importantly, to my brother ‘Joey’, who was the last to carry it.
